Services

Everything needed to get you online, and keep you there.

Five services that cover a website from first sketch to ongoing upkeep, for small and local businesses across Toronto and the GTA. Take one, or take all of them.

Service 01

Website Design

A site designed around the one thing you need visitors to do.

I start with your customers, not a template. You see the design before anything gets built, so nothing is a surprise at the end.

What you get

  • Custom design, never a resold template
  • Designed on mobile first, where most of your visitors are
  • Clear layout built around your main call to action
  • You review and approve before a line of code is written

Service 02

Website Development

Built to load fast and stay out of your way.

Hand-built, tested on real phones, and shipped to fast hosting. No page-builder bloat and nothing you can't take with you.

What you get

  • Fast, lightweight code — no heavy page builders
  • Tested on real phones, tablets, and desktops
  • Accessible to WCAG AA standards
  • You own the code and the domain, always

Service 03

Website Redesign

Keep what works. Fix what's costing you customers.

Your current site stays live while I build the new one. Existing pages keep their addresses so you don't lose the search rankings you already have.

What you get

  • Your current site stays up until launch day
  • Existing page addresses preserved, everything else redirected
  • Content carried over and rewritten where it needs it
  • A clear before-and-after you can actually see

Service 04

Landing Pages

One page, one job, no distractions.

For a campaign, a promotion, or a single service. Built to be measured, so you can tell whether the ad spend behind it is working.

What you get

  • Single focused page with one call to action
  • Built to pair with ads or a campaign
  • Form or booking flow wired up and tested
  • Analytics installed so you can measure it

Service 05

SEO Maintenance

Someone tending the site after launch day.

Ongoing technical upkeep and local search work, plus a plain-English monthly note on what changed and why.

What you get

  • Google Business Profile kept current
  • Technical SEO checks and fixes
  • Content and page updates as your business changes
  • A monthly summary written in plain English

How we work

The same four steps, every project.

Step 01

You send me a note

Email me what your business does and what isn't working. You get back questions, a rough scope, and a price range — in writing, usually same day.

Free · usually two emails
Step 02

You see the design

You review the homepage design before anything is built. Changes happen here, while they're cheap and easy.

Two rounds included
Step 03

I build and test

The site gets built, then tested on real phones and with a screen reader before you ever see a link.

You get a staging link
Step 04

I launch it and stay on

I move it live, point your domain, and stay reachable while the first real visitors come through.

30 days of free tuning

Pricing

Fixed price, agreed before we start.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

A full business website starts at $2,200 and a single landing page at $900. What moves the number is how many pages you need and whether anything has to connect to booking or payments. You get an exact figure by email before you commit to anything.

Most sites take two to four weeks from kickoff to live. The clock usually depends on how quickly you can send photos, logos, and answers — not on us.

No. Everything can be handled over email — the quote, the design review, and the changes. If you'd rather talk it through at some point I'm happy to, but nothing is held up waiting on a phone call, and you're never chasing me for one.

Me. Modern Forge Web is one person — Gleb — not an agency with a sales team. The person you email is the person designing and building your site, and that doesn't change halfway through. It's also why the price is what it is.

You pay 25% to start, and that's the only money that moves before you've seen anything. I design your homepage, you review it, and you get two rounds of changes. If you still don't want to proceed after that, I refund the deposit in full. The remaining 75% isn't due until the site is live and you've signed off. All of it is in the contract.

Text, prices, and hours — yes, if you want that. I can connect an editor so you can change content without touching code, and record a short walkthrough for you or your staff. It's priced as an add-on rather than assumed, because plenty of owners would honestly rather email me a change than log into another system. Either way, small edits are covered under ongoing care and you're never billed by the hour for fixing a typo.

You own the design, the code, the content, and the domain. If you ever move on, I hand over the files and help your next developer get set up.

I keep what's working and rebuild the rest. Your current site stays live until the new one is ready, and existing pages keep their addresses so you don't lose search rankings.

No, and I say so on every one of them. Northline Dental, Elite Roofing, and Copacabana are demo concepts I designed and built to show how differently each industry needs to be approached. There are no client names or performance figures attached to them, because there's nothing real to report yet and inventing it would tell you nothing useful about me.
